Street lighting
SWR is building lighting systems (both electric and gas systems) throughout the Frankfurt metropolitan area on behalf of StrassenBeleuchtung Rhein-Main GmbH.
Most of the orders comprises replacing the current gas street lighting with electric lighting street by street. A new lighting cable has been laid for this purpose. New masts are being provided, connected and put into operation by SWR lineworkers.
SWR welders are disconnecting and detaching the old gas masts from the gas supply line, then sealing the line so that it is gas-tight.
